  • CLOSED LOOP DRIVES

    To an increasing degree closed-loop drives are guarantors for top-quality products in the machine and plant engineering. Dependent on the physical requirements sturdy, low-maintenance brushless synchronous and asynchronous motors are used. With COMBIVERT F5-Multi and COMBIVERT F5-A-Servo two concepts are available to you, which are based on identical hardware and software.

    • the compact actuator - providing sped and torque control for use with external positioning control

    Designed to provide a simple, user-friendly, compact, safe and economical frequency inverter in the power range 0,37 … 11 kW. A choice of removable operator module is available to provide flexible display and programming as well as serial communication.

  • F4-C

    The versatile frequency inverter in the power range 0,75 … 315 kW.User friendly handling via the CP front and menu as well as the application menu for more demanding requirements. Removable operator modules for handling and display as well as different serial interfaces ensure the flexible adaption to your requirements.

  • F4-F

    High performance field-orientated drives utilises the robust, maintenance-free asynchronous motor in combination with COMBIVERT digital drives, it is now possible to incorporate these drives into fields of application where in the past service intensive DC or expensive servo technology have been the only options.

  • S4

    The servo system KEB COMBIVERT S4 compromises modern, industrial drive systems with high-dynamic synchronous motors.Combination of digital, preprogrammed servo amplifier, dynamically optimized synchronous motor with NdFeB-magnets, resolver-, Sin/Cos- or multiturn SSI-encoder and preassembled connecting technique for continous standstill torque.

    Torque in the range of: 0.3 ... 50 Nm with speed 1.500 ... 6.000 rpm

    The resulting range of fieldbus protocols favoured by different manufactures presents a wide choice of standards. KEB recognises that there's no single solution, so we support a number of the most popular filedbus systems. Different versions can be supplied for Interbus, Profibus, CAN, LON and KEB DIN 66019.

  • FILTERS

    …the choke and filter program for EMC-conform installation..
    When using drive controllers the emitted interferences, resulting from clocked voltages, are to be limited to the legally prescribed limit values dependent on the application and the installation site.During the planning stage of an electrical systems absorbing filter systems should already be considered, which KEB makes available to you for central or decentralized EMC concepts.

    The use of switch mode power supplies or variable speed drives with uncontrolled rectifier input circuit (B2 or B6) can cause interference on the mains or the motor side. Depending on the application those interference can be reduced by the following means:

    • Input chokes can reduce the ripple and the harmonics on the mains which can improve the life time of electronic components;
    • HF-filters reduce the interference caused by variable speed drives;
    • NHF-filters combine filters and chokes in a single unit;
    • Central filters for 3 or 4 phase systems used for several components in one system;
    • For internal interference suppression open chokes for common mode current rejection are available;
    Motor:
    • Output chokes for 50/60 Hz; as well as 100 Hz, 300 Hz and up to 1600 Hz are available;
    • Sinusoidal-filters generate sinusoidal voltage characteristics and reduce the symmetric interference; available for output frequencies up to 600 Hz;
    • Sinusoidal EMC filters are a combination of sinusoidal and EMC filter to reduce the symmetric as well as teh asymmetric interference. EMC compliance can be achieved without the need for screened cables;


    Integrated compact EMC solution:
    - I/O-filters combine input HF filter and output dv/dt filter.

    SOFTWARE

    An effective application of KEB Power transmission systems is supported by various software packages for operation, commissioning, trouble shooting, implementation in serial communication to the control level.

    KEB COMBIVIS is the universal and effective tool for the application of the KEB COMBIVERT drives.

    • complete administration of drive settings;
    • display and setting of all parameters in up to 8 parameter sets;
    • display of physical units and monitoring of operation data;
    • configuration of customer-specific presettings on the "CP-level";
    • analysis of the serial communication between drive and host control compatible on all PC's with serial interface and operating systems Windows '95, '98, NT and 2000.;

    ACCESSORY ELECTRONIC

    Braking resistors OHM-A and OHM-B

    The DC-bus capacitors of the frequency inverters can only take a limited amount regenerative energy from the motor. To lead this additional energy to the outside, the inverters KEB COMBIVERT have an internal braking transistor. In addition to regenerative power supplies we offer a powerful program of braking resistors cabable to handle high peak loads as an economical solution.

    General features are:

    • thermal protection by normally closed contact as standard;
    • universal side-mounted units for peak load conditions and compact submounted modules to absorb pulse energy are deliverable.;
    • no additional noise during braking;
    • UL/ cUL-approved;
